Mumbai News: Traffic restrictions issued for Maharashtra Day Parade at Shivaji Park on May 1

Restrictions will be enforced from 6 AM to 12 PM on May 1.

Mumbai Traffic Police has announced special traffic arrangements for Maharashtra day Parade at Shivaji Park, Dadar on May 1, 2025. Key roads around the venue will face restrictions from 6 AM to 12 PM to ensure smooth event operations.

Check routes- 

Key Changes:

  • Keluskar Road (North & South) – Closed for all vehicles except invitees.

  • S.K. Bole Road – One-way from Siddhivinayak to Portuguese Church junction.

  • Swatantraveer Savarkar Road – Restricted between Yes Bank & Siddhivinayak junctions. Diversions via Gokhale Road and LJ Road.

  • No Parking Zones: Keluskar Road, Pandurang Naik Road, and N.C. Kelkar Road.

For Invitees:

  • From South Mumbai: Via Tilak Bridge or Annie Besant Road.

  • From Western Suburbs: Via Mahim’s LJ Road or Cadell Road.

Parade Route:

The march starts at Shivaji Park (Gate No. 5), moves via Keluskar Road North, and ends at Naarli Baug.

Commuters are advised to avoid these routes during the event. Traffic personnel will guide commuters to minimise disruptions. Plan your travel accordingly!
