Mumbai-Pune Expressway to face 2 hours of traffic disruption on April 3 & 4 | Know details

Commuters on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway should prepare for temporary traffic disruption between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM on April 3 and 4, 2024. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) is installing a gantry at the 93/900 kilometre mark, facilitated by the Highway Traffic Management System on both Pune and Mumbai lanes.

The alternative routes:

  • Light vehicle commuters from Pune to Mumbai are recommended to divert through the Mumbai Canal and National Highway No. 48

  • All vehicles will be rerouted via the Kiwale Bridge through the Old Pune Mumbai Highway

  • Vehicles traveling from Mumbai to Pune will be redirected to Kusgaon toll naka (Lonavala exit)

These diversions prioritise safety and efficiency. Commuters are urged to plan alternative routes to minimise inconvenience.
