Mumbai records hottest day of the season on March 21; mercury drop forecasted, in coming days

After sweltering in the heat of the hottest day of the season on March 21, at 38.7°C, Mumbaikars woke up to clear skies and a gentle, cool breeze today. According to the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) forecast, Mumbai is likely to experience a decrease in minimum temperatures and face 23°C on Saturday and 24°C on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Moreover, today, the maximum temperature in Mumbai is expected to hover around 36°C, whereas the minimum temperature might drop to 23°C. Winds are predicted to blow at a speed of 10 km/h, with occasional gusts reaching 13 km/h. The sun rose at 6:40 AM and is expected to set at 6:50 PM.
