After days of sweltering heat, Mumbai finally experienced a welcome drop in temperature on Wednesday, January 29. The city recorded a minimum temperature of 16.9°C and a maximum of 31.8°C—down by 3°C over the last two days. Colaba was cooler at 29°C, 1.2°C below normal. As for today's forecast, expect clear skies with temperatures fluctuating between 21°C and 30°C, making for a much more pleasant day ahead.

Weather experts predict that minimum temperatures may dip further in the coming week, touching 17°C in some areas. With steady north-westerly winds in play, Mumbai is set for a pleasant run-up to the weekend. These favourable conditions are linked to northern winds influencing multiple cities, including the Mumbai metropolitan region, bringing a refreshing change to the weather.

Adding to the good news, Mumbai's air quality has shown remarkable improvement. The Air Quality Index (AQI) stands at 66 in Colaba, falling within the 'satisfactory' range – a significant enhancement compared to previous months.
