Mumbai’s highly anticipated Siddhivinayak Metro Station, part of the Aqua Line (Metro Line 3), has been unveiled, blending modern engineering with spiritual significance. Located just steps away from the revered Shri Siddhivinayak Temple, the station was meticulously constructed to navigate tight urban spaces and heavy foot traffic while maintaining the sanctity of the area.

Stations, stops, and what to expect

The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) shared the first glimpse of the station on X, highlighting its unique design that harmonises faith and functionality. 

Key Features of the Aqua Line (Phase 1):

  • Fully Underground: Mumbai’s first entirely underground metro line.

  • 10 Stations: Connects BKC, CSMIA Airport (T1 & T2), Andheri, SEEPZ, and Aarey Colony.

  • Smart Connectivity: Links key hubs like Dadar Beach, Ravindra Natya Mandir, and business districts.

  • Aarey Colony Station: The only ground-level stop in the phase.

Set to redefine Mumbai’s transit, the Aqua Line promises faster commutes, reduced traffic, and seamless access to spiritual and commercial hotspots. With its strategic location, the Siddhivinayak Station is expected to ease pilgrim congestion while offering a modern transit experience.
