Mumbai's Bandra-Worli Sea Link toll rates to surge by 18% from April 1 | Check new rates

The new toll rates will be applicable till March 31, 2027.

People, get ready to shell out more money when travelling on Mumbai's iconic Bandra-Worli Sea Link (officially known as Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link) from 1 April. As per Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation, the toll rates for one-way journeys will witness an approximate 18% surge.

Applicable from April 1, new toll rates are:

  • For cars and jeeps, the toll rates for a one-way journey will be increased from ₹85 to ₹100

  • For mini-buses, tempos, and other similar vehicles, the revised toll rates will stand at ₹160, compared to the current ₹130

  • Two-axle trucks will now be charged ₹210 for a one-way trip across the Sea Link, instead of ₹175

Further, MSRDC officials said that motorists will get a rebate of 10% and 20% on the purchase of booklets containing 50 and 100 toll coupons in advance, respectively. Frequent travellers can also buy a monthly pass, costing 50 times their respective one-way travel rates. Moreover, the rates of the return journey pass, valid till midnight, shall be 1.5 times and 2.5 times their respective one-way toll charges.

The new toll rates on the sea link are applicable from April 1, 2024, untill March 31, 2027, said reports.
