The space hosts regular community gatherings.

A conscious clothing label, The Sensing House has launched in Bandra, one of Mumbai's buzzing localities. A multi-sensory retail space, here customers are encouraged to slow down, awaken their senses and engage fully with each product’s story. Underpinned by responsible curation and narrative-driven design, the store brings together fashion and sustainability along with immersive experiences.

Curated offerings and experiences

Within its softly lit interiors, The Sensing House showcases biodegradable apparel crafted from wood-chip fibres alongside handmade Batoki jewellery. A curated selection of self-care brands, including Japanese matcha from Ilem and artisanal Sohrai skincare, sits alongside a gift-box station where customers can personalise presents for loved ones. Complementing the retail offering, the space hosts regular community gatherings, from yin yoga and meditation to smoothie-bowl workshops and matcha-and-scribble sessions, inviting you to connect and unwind.

Philosophy: Slow fashion meets ‘Third Space’

Rejecting the hurried pace of urban life, The Sensing House serves as a modern ‘third space’. A refuge from work and home. “There’s something deeply fulfilling about curating a space where people can walk into a different reality, discover, and reconnect with the joy of mindful living,” Humera Tamboli, Sensing’s founder was quoted as saying in a press realease. “The Sensing House unites a community that values slowness, artistry and conscious lifestyle choices.
