New Superfast Special Train linking Bandra Terminus to Gorakhpur Station via Lucknow, starts Jan 14

Travel time in both directions exceeds 30 hours

To ease the rush of passengers, Western Railway has decided to run Train No. 05053/05054 Superfast Special Train between Bandra Terminus and Gorakhpur, via Lucknow. Operating in both directions, this weekly special will depart from Gorakhpur every Friday and from Bandra Terminus every Saturday, until further notice.

Passengers travelling from Lucknow can expect Train No. 05053 to depart from Badshah Nagar at 13:13 and from Aishbagh at 14:05. On the return route, Train No. 05054 will depart from Aishbagh at 00:58 and from Badshahnagar at 01:21. Read on for more details!

Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Special: Timetable of the new trains! 

This train comprises of General Second Class Coaches and the details are as follows: 

Train No. 05054 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Special:

  • Departure Time: 09:20 pm (Every Saturday)

  • Arrival Time: 06:45 am (Monday)

  • Travel Time: 32 hours and 40 minutes

  • Starting February 15, 2025

Train No. 05053 Gorakhpur – Bandra Terminus Special:

  • Departure Time: 07:50 am (Every Friday)

  • Arrival Time: 06:00 am (next day)

  • Travel Time: 30 hours and 30 minutes

  • Starting February 14, 2025

On the journey, these trains will make scheduled halts Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Shamgarh, Bhawani Mandi, Kota, Gangapur City, Bayana, Agra Fort, Tundla, Kanpur Central, Lucknow (Aishbagh), Lucknow (Badshah Nagar), Gonda, Basti & Khalilabad stations, in both directions.
