After the traffic advisory issued yesterday for the city, Mumbai will also witness over 12,000 police personnel manning the streets for the two big events today. These include the Durga Visarjan and the annual Dussehra rallies at Shivaji Park.

Thousands of devotees and supporters of the political parties are expected to turn for the celebrations. Hence, a slew of security arrangements have been made to ensure incident-free events.

SRPF, QRT, Riot Police, and Combat Forces also stationed

In a bid to ensure maximum security through these events, the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF), Quick Response Teams (QRTs), Riot Police, and Combat Forces have also been deployed in Mumbai. Notably, a total of six ACPs will also be on duty to oversee the security arrangements throughout the day.
