National Award-winning actress Rituparna Sengupta is set to bring a grand Durga Puja celebration to Mumbai this year. Collaborating with the Mumbai Bengali Cultural Association (MBCA), Sengupta aims to showcase the diversity of Indian culture through this event. The 'MBCA Durga Puja & India Festival 2024' will be held from October 8 to 13 at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).

The festival promises to blend traditional Bengali Durga Puja elements with pan-Indian cultural programs, including Garba and Dhunuchi Naach. Sengupta envisions the event as a unifying celebration that brings communities together under one roof.

Building on the success of previous years' events organised by singer Kumar Sanu, this year's expanded festival aims to promote Indian art, culture, and heritage on a grander scale. Previous years have seen prominent figures like Dharmendra, Anupam Kher and so on, in attendance. With its theme of 'unity in diversity', the celebration will feature exhibition stalls, food courts, and various cultural programs welcoming all.
