The IPL match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI), originally scheduled for May 11 at Dharamshala‘s Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, has been shifted to Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. The change comes after the closure of the Dharamshala airport, following the Indian Army's recent Operation Sindoor.

Concerns are also mounting over the May 8 fixture between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals. With multiple airline cancellations across northern and central India due to heightened security measures, the match could be rescheduled. Flight operations have been suspended in at least 11 cities, including Srinagar, Jammu, Amritsar, Leh, Chandigarh, Dharamshala, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Gwalior, Kishangarh, and Rajkot, until May 10.

As per reports, BCCI and franchises are closely monitoring the situation and will announce updates based on security advisories and travel feasibility.
