Shah Rukh Khan and his family are set to swap their heritage bungalow Mannat for a luxury apartment in Pali Hill, as their beloved sea-facing house undergoes renovation. The superstar and his family are temporarily relocating while the property gets an upgrade, which includes adding two entire floors to the annexe.

Shah Rukh’s production company secures four floors in Puja Casa

Mannat, which Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan acquired from Bai Khorshed Bhanu Sanjana Trust in 2001, has long been a symbol of their journey to stardom. Gauri, being an interior designer, has had a hand in crafting the home’s opulent interiors. Last November, she even sought approval from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority to extend the annexe with an additional two floors.

While Mannat is being transformed into Mannat 2.0, the Khan family will be calling a plush apartment in Pali Hill home. According to reports, Shah Rukh’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, has signed a lease agreement with film producer Vashu Bhagnani’s children, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh, for four floors in the swanky Puja Casa complex. The rent for this luxury pad? ₹24 lakh per month.
