In a heartwarming initiative, an MSRTC bus in Maharashtra's Beed has become a vibrant mobile classroom! In addition to spearheading the move, driver Siraj Pathan and conductor Vaishali Mule have invested ₹35,000 to further enhance the bus’s educational interiors.

Their efforts have successfully attracted more students, increasing ridership from 200 to 290, and promoting education, particularly among girls, in the community.

Overview of the MSRTC Bus

  • From the outside, the bus looks ordinary, but inside, it’s filled with colourful images and educational materials.

  • The decor features icons like Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, Swami Vivekananda, and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

  • The roof displays a vivid depiction of the solar system, while the walls feature a periodic table and yoga poses.

  • Mule stated that their goal was to make learning enjoyable during the ride, which has attracted more students, especially girls.

  • The bus now serves 290 students, up from 200 last year, covering schools like Vishwanath in Wangi and Sangameshwar Vidyalaya in Nalwandi.
