Traffic restrictions issued for several South Bombay routes for Gudi Padwa 2024

In view of the Gudi Padwa 2024 celebrations today, Mumbai Traffic Police has announced restrictions for a number of routes in South Bombay. Notably, Gudi Padwa is celebrated as the Marathi New Year and huge crowds are expected to hold a rally.

To avoid congestion, the following restrictions have been issued:

  • Stretch from SVP Road Junction and Saifee Hospital on RR Road will remain closed for traffic and parking.

  • CP Tank Circle Junction to Nityanand Hotel Junction on VP Road will remain closed for parking. Furthermore, VP Road will also be closed for traffic.

  • JSS Road will also remain shut for traffic and parking.

  • Stretch from BJ Road to Khattar Gali will also remain closed. Commuters can take the MK Road as the alternative.

It is noteworthy that all these traffic restrictions will be in place till 3 PM today.
