Are you looking for a fun, happening event in Jaipur? Well, look no more because artiste, singer and musician Gajendra Verma is coming to the Pink City! You may know him from him from his famous songs ‘Tera Ghata’, ‘Emptiness’ and ‘Mann Mera’, which are just snippets of his creativity and imagination.

The Bollywood sensation will be in town on July 1 as part of his Live concert tour in India. Since he is a well known artiste in the industry, he needs very little introduction. He made his way straight into our hearts when his track 'Emptiness' stole the spotlight and how! The song took over YouTube and the musical star took over our very playlists.

In 2018, the singer came out with the song 'Tera Ghata', a song that is still topping the charts and has a continually growing viewer count on YouTube. Though the singer wasn’t born in Jaipur, he has spent a major chunk of his life in the pink city, where he was brought up. The singer first gained acclaim when his song ‘Emptiness’ became a viral hit song. In fact, he even created a fictional character for the song and many fans believed him to be the real singer. Lucknow Municipal Corporation will deploy vehicles equipped with new anti-smog guns to combat the growing levels of air pollution in the city. The anti-smog guns will ensure proper visibility during the foggy season by improving the quality of air significantly and making it more breathable for the citizens here.

Notably, as per the World Air Quality Report 2020, Lucknow was ranked as the ninth most polluted city in the world. It has been reported that the level of pollution rises significantly during the winters due to the drop in temperature paired with high moisture content apart from other common factors. This deadly combination leads to the trapping of particulate matter in the atmosphere, thereby deteriorating the air quality.

New flights to ease connectivity from Indore to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi & Hyderabad from October 31

These flights are part of the winter schedule approved by the DGCA

As per the new winter flight schedule approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, 25 new flight services will be started to ease connectivity from Indore to Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. The daily flight movement between Indore and Delhi is set to increase with the induction of 16 new flights on this route. 10 new flights on both Indore-Ahmedabad and Indore-Mumbai routes along with at least 8 other services between Indore- Hyderabad, will also be functional from October 31.

Reportedly, more than 30 students from Jaipur have qualified the Joint Engineering Exam this year.
