"People who have taken both the vaccination shots and possess a complete vaccination certificate will be allowed to enter Goa. It can be for those who are coming for tourism, business or other reasons," Sawant said. Additionally, the CM stated that the state administration is trying to rope in private diagnostic labs to set up testing facilities at the prominent railway stations in Goa.

As per reports, the tourism activities are expected to be revived by July 30, when all the citizens of the coastal state have received their first jab of the Covid vaccine. Further, the CM has expressed hope that the positivity rate will come down to 5 percent in the coming days. While the covid tallies are navigating towards the controlled zone in Goa, it is important to keep all lag points in check, so that the possibilities of a third wave can be mitigated. Here, it is noteworthy that the state is observing curfew till July 5.
