In a bid to boost the scale of employment in the state, the Goa State Pollution Control Board has welcomed applications from graduates, intermediates and ITI certificate holders for various job vacancies. Reportedly, these openings will be awarded on the basis of aspirants’ performance in the 2 hour-long, 100-mark assessment. Chosen candidates will be recruited on diverse posts, such as junior environmental engineer, junior stenographer and network assistant among others.

The application format for the job is specified on the official website of the GSPC board, which will assist candidates to the draft their application and fill in the correct information. All forms will be addressed to the chairman of Goa State Pollution Control Board, added reports.
The entries for employment should be sent to Nr. Pilerne Industrial Estate, Opp. Saligao Seminary, Saligao, Bardez, Goa- 403511 before the deadline on October 8. The Board is liable to summarily reject late, incomplete applications or those that do not fulfil the requirements in any manner.
5 junior environmental engineers,1 stenographer & 1 network assistant
As of now, the department needs 5 junior environmental engineers, one junior stenographer and a single network assistant. The choice of candidates will be determined on the basis of a competitive exam or a specific skill set test, depending upon the post requirements. The candidates will appear for an examination of 100 marks that will be two hours long, added reports.
As per the job notice, “The syllabus and scheme of the exam shall encompass questions based on essential qualifications, general knowledge, reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude etc. commensurate with the degree or level of understanding required for the post.”
