Ending a long wait for the film lovers in the state, the revamped and restored ESG Multiplex is all set to reopen its gates for the public. Reportedly, this decision was announced by the Entertainment Society of Goa(ESG) in an event organised on Tuesday in Panjim. Presenting a string of remarkable and enticing movies from across the globe, the redeveloped complex shall welcome visitors almost a year after the start of the pandemic.
Assuring strict adherence to all COVID related precautions
Reportedly, the occasion was marked by the esteemed presence of the IAS Secretary, Govt. Of Goa who is also the chief operating officer at ESG in addition to the Vice Chairman and General Manager of ESG. As per reports, all the revered guests bought entry tickets for the Tom & Jerry movie after the program got concluded. It was observed that all the necessary precautions and guidelines related to the ongoing pandemic were being strictly adhered to.
Refurbished complex with multiple facilities
Scaling up the entertainment amenities in the state, ESG Multiplex comes with advanced facilities. Equipped with 4 screens, a plush seating arrangement that consists of recliner chairs, the complex assures an enjoyable experience. Additionally, it also encapsulates a Dolby Atmos sound system for an amplified experience matching the global standards. Taking care of its visitors’ munching requirements, the multiplex would also house an eatery called Cafe Unwind.
Being the first entertainment and event company in the state, ESG started operations in 2004. In the past two decades, this corporation has executed a list of initiatives to strengthen and expand the entertainment industry in the state. Amongst the projects managed by it, the International Film Festival of India is a remarkable one. A collaborative initiative of the central and state government, IFFI is jointly administered by the Directorate of Film Festival and Entertainment Society of Goa.
