Yes to Life campaign launches interactive portal to help people dealing with drug abuse in Goa

Information related to drug abuse & professional help will be made available on the interactive portal

An interactive portal was launched by the Human Touch Foundation to raise awareness and help people and families to understand the effects of substance abuse among youths. The portal will have all the necessary information regarding substance abuse and its impact on people around. Additionally, beneficiaries can also take mental health sessions with professionals.

Say 'Yes To Life'

The interactive portal was launched as a part of the Human Touch Foundation’s 'Yes to Life' campaign to fight substance abuse in the state. Their approach is very neutral and engaging towards the person who needs help. The move is aimed at enabling families to find answers to taboo questions and choices and make a difference by serving, supporting, and partnering in the developments.

With this interactive portal, people can ask for help or look for ways to help their peers, family members, or themselves without revealing their identity. With a targeted approach, Human Touch Foundation's Yes to Life campaign runs various programmes dedicated to different strata of the society.

Most crucial being among the programmes is the First Move, a programme for young individuals who needs special attention and motivation to live a healthy and drug-free life. Other programmes are the Strong Families initiative, Healthy Me programme, Healthy Community, and United Against Substance Abuse Coalition (UASAC).
