In the seven days between July 27 and August 2, over 100 districts across the country have declared themselves free from manual scavenging. According to fresh data from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, a total of 639 districts in India have send declarations of being free from manual scavenging in any shape or form.

ICC released revised World Cup schedule; IND vs PAK match preponed 

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the changed schedule for this year's Men's ODI World Cup. According to the new schedule, the much-awaited IND vs PAK World Cup match will be held on October 14 instead of October 15 in Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi stadium.
