IIM Lucknow ranked 6th under the Management Category. Check out the complete list now available at the official website of the ranking platform – nirfindia.org.

IIT-Madras has bagged its number one position in the overall educational institutes and engineering categories this year as well. IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay have bagged the second and third ranks, respectively. IIT Kanpur and IIT Kharagpur too retained their previous year’s rankings of fourth and fifth spot.

Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)

Launched by the Honourable Minister for Education on 29th September 2015, The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country.

The ranking framework judges institutions under five broad generic groups of parameters from Teaching Learning and Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI) to Perception (PR). Ranks are assigned based on the total sum of marks assigned for each of these five broad groups of parameters.
