After the swabs are collected, the report is being made available within 24 hours, through SMS or a Whatsapp message.

Attempting to increase the avenues for COVID testing, Indore Municipal Corporation has established two drive-in diagnostic centres at Nehru Stadium and Dushehra Maidan in the city. At a cost of ₹600, the facility of RT-PCR test is being provided at these sites, to tackle the humongous count of individuals that require quick testing. It is expected that this initiative will aid in solving the problem of lagging test reports due to the high number of tests being conducted every day.

At these two testing locations, samples for RT-PCR tests are being collected from citizens who are coming over in their two or four-wheeler. It has been stated that all individuals wishing to get tested, must get themselves registered on the online platform, prior to visiting these centres. After the swabs are collected, the report is being made available within 24 hours, through SMS or a Whatsapp message.

As per reports, the two centres together are conducting a total of 4,000 tests every day and they also have facilities for specially-abled individuals. Through this measure, the daily testing count in the city would be increased and the time of the lab technicians will also be saved.
