Indore wins the cleanest city of India award for the third time in a row!

It’s a hat-trick for Indore! Indoris, you’ve got a lot to be proud about. In the recent Swachh Survekshan awards 2019, Indore has been once again crowned as the cleanest city in the country. This is the third time the city has received this award and it should make you feel immensely proud to be a resident of Indore. The award ceremony took place today and we’re ecstatic about the revelation. Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh has bagged the cleanest capital award.

Of late, it seems that Indore has been on a roll as far as developments and good news is concerned. Only recently, the Indore metro rail system was approved and now, the city has been awarded the cleanest city tag for the third year in a row.

Surely, this award owes a lot to the citizens who helped keep the streets clean and the others who did their part by abiding with garbage disposal rules. This accomplishment goes out to all the dedicated citizens of Indore for their perseverance and their motivation to keep the city at the top spot for cleanest city.

To make the city retain the top spot, about 4000 toilets and hundreds of garbage trucks were put to use and each served their purpose dutifully. Each of the small movements had an impact on the overall cleanliness of the city, which is what made the accomplishment possible.
