Beating the economic turmoil propelled by the COVID-19 pandemic, IIM Indore has managed to mark a successful placement season. As per reports, the institute recently concluded its recruitment drives, registering the highest package of ₹56.8 lakh per annum. With an average annual salary of ₹23.6 lakhs, the college has recorded a hike of 3% compared to packages offered last year.
Highest salary of ₹41.5 lakhs per annum offered in the domestic circuit
As per reports, the institute has triumphed in securing well-paying jobs for all its students of two-year-PGP (Post-Graduate Programme) and five-year IPM (Integrated Programme in Management) courses. Reportedly, the maximum offer of ₹56.8 was received by a student for a job in a foreign location.
In the domestic circuit of employers, the highest salary offered stood at ₹41.5 lakhs per annum. It is noteworthy that despite the prevailing uncertain circumstances, IIM Indore hosted 210 national and international companies for its recruitment season this year. Consequently, the top authorities at the institute thanked the firms for showing faith in the students enrolled on the campus.

It is important to note that combining the strengths of the two courses, IIM Indore witnessed one of the biggest batches of students sitting for placements. The institute was able to register the aforesaid feats facilitated by an entirely online process of recruitment.
Among the positions offered in different fields, 24% were from finance, 23% from sales and marketing, 22% in consulting, 20% in general management and operations while 11% from the IT and Analytics sectors, as stated by reports. Given the acclaim and academic excellence of the institute, the employers did not hesitate to pick students for high-paying jobs in myriad sectors.
