Various fitness-related endeavours, new activities and sports events promoting a healthy lifestyle in the city, only add to the motivation of the people for leading a fit and robust life. One such public event which is organized every year in Indore is the Indore Marathon. The 9th edition of this annual marathon is all set to be hosted with utmost zest.
The grand citywide marathon which is being hosted by the Academy of Indore Marathoners (AIM) a nonprofit organization on February 5, Sunday, will consist of races for different modes and categories.
Route details and the eligibility criteria for Indore Marathon
The 9th edition of the Indore Marathon will be for multiple distance ranges including 3000 km, 5000 km, 10,000 km, half marathon (21,000 Km) and full marathon (42,000 km) for both male and female categories.
Here’s the complete update about the marathon route and the eligibility criteria for different distance modes:

3k Run: For ages 10 years and above; route: YTA

5k Run: For ages 10 years and above; The marathon for this category will start from Nehru Stadium and the route will follow points including Vishesh Hospital, 56 Dukan, High Court and Gandhi Hall with a finish line at the Rajwada Palace.

10k Run: For ages 14 years and above; The marathon for this category will start from Nehru Stadium and the route will follow points including Palasia Square, Industry House, LIG Square and Atal Dwar with a finish line at Pardesi Pura.

21k Run: For ages 18 years and above; The marathon for this category will start from Nehru Stadium and the route will follow points including the Rajwada Palace, Palasia Square, LIG Square, Pardesi Pura and Vijay Nagar with a finish line at the Sukhliya area.
