Bhairav Kund

An abode shrouded in nature, this place is the perfect quaint little getaway from the city life. The hike to Bhairav Kund is about 6 kilometers long, so be sure to pack enough supplies. Along the way, you’ll encounter some interesting flora as well as fauna, all of which adds to the enthralling experience. If you do visit, don’t forget to pack swimming trunks because there’s a calm, serene natural waterpool. Also, did we mention that it is not very common among tourists?

Janapav Trek

This one of a kind trek near Indore will take you into the depths of a dense forest. The panoramic views of the forest from atop are sure to rejuvenate you and get you ready for the upcoming week. Since this place is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Parashurama, don’t get freaked out if you feel some ethereal vibes.

Jogi Bhadak

This trek is one of the best around Indore. Starting from Dhal Gram Base Camp, the four kilometer long trek will take you to a waterfall 400 meters in height. The views from here are absolutely stunning and will leave you at a loss for words. Along the trek, you’ll see some colourful flora and fauna, so be sure to click a picture. The trek is often frequented by tourists and even if you’re alone, you might get some nice company.

Ralmandal Wildlife Sanctuary

If you’re feeling more adventurous, you have to pay a visit to Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary. The place is lush with loads of rare, wild animals and it’ll be an experience you won’t forget in a hurry. Here, you can even take one of the guided tours if you’re hellbent on seeing some tigers or deer.
