E-rickshaws in Indore to soon operate on designated routes; Check schedule here

The proposed tracks are expected to tackle frequent traffic congestions in the city.

With an aim to improve the traffic situation in Indore, electric auto rickshaws will now operate specifically on designated routes. For the same, the Regional Transport Office (RTO) and Traffic Department have proposed as many as 23 routes.

The suggested tracks to tackle frequent traffic congestions, proposed at a high-level meeting in the presence of public representatives, will be finalised soon. Check out the routes presently scheduled for e-rickshaws in Indore:

Electric vehicles, especially e-rickshaws are environment-friendly in nature, as they help alleviate air and noise pollution by releasing fewer greenhouse gases. At the same time, they have a low operating cost and reduce human efforts in driving.
