Enhancing intrastate connectivity, Indore-Jabalpur Vande Bharat to be flagged off on June 20

This will be the 2nd Vande Bharat train for MP, the first one is already operational between Bhopal and New Delhi.

With a motive to enhance the railway networks in India and facilitate seamless intercity travel, Indian Railways is diligently striving towards the introduction of new Vande Bharat trains on various routes.

Now, Madhya Pradesh is set to receive its second Vande Bharat train, connecting Indore and Jabalpur. In light of the imminent launch of this new train, regular meetings are being conducted at both the zone and divisional levels to ensure seamless operations.

The train is expected to be flagged off from Jabalpur on June 20, marking a significant milestone in the state's railway infrastructure development.

Finalization procedure for Indore-Jabalpur Vande Bharat now underway

Notably, the first Vande Bharat train of the state was made operational on April 1 this year and runs between Rani Kamlapati station in Bhopal and Hazarat Nizamuddin railway station in New Delhi.

Owing to the commencement of the Indore-Jabalpur Vande Bharat train, the Railway authorities have proactively prepared the route and designated the required stoppages. The authorities have further started finalising the preparations.

This significant addition to the railway network will significantly enhance intrastate connectivity and effectively reduce travel time between cities.
