Fear spreads as leopard targets livestock in Indore’s Super Corridor zone

Indore’s outskirts are facing a growing leopard menace, with multiple sightings near prominent locations, including Infosys and TCS campuses on the Super Corridor. Last week’s alarming encounters have escalated, as residents of Nainod Village reported attacks on livestock, causing serious injuries. CCTV footage circulating online has intensified panic in the area, raising concerns about the safety of both residents and animals.

To tackle the situation, teams from the state forest department have been dispatched to the region. With the help of night vision camera traps, they’re maintaining a vigilant watch to track the leopard.

Speculations are rife regarding the potential presence of an adult leopard and two cubs in the campuses of two IT services companies and an adjacent agricultural field in the western part of Indore’s Super Corridor area. Authorities are actively addressing the issue, prioritizing the safety of the local community.
