As part of the city’s ‘Health of Indore’ campaign, health checkups will be conducted for all government affiliated as well as non-government affiliated schools and college teachers in the Indore district. For this, health camps are being organized in various institutions had the check-ups will be completed before Teacher’s Day, which falls on September 5.
Reportedly, under the health checkup, 8 types of health tests will be carried out, and these include blood tests and various other vital check-ups. The further proceedings of the tests and the investigations will be processed via the Central Lab of the city.
What are the initiatives under Indore’s Health of Indore event?
The Health of Indore campaign has been started to take care of the health of the citizens of Indore and motivate them to remain healthy.
Various activities are being organized as part of this campaign to raise awareness about health in the Indore district. These include competitions in schools and colleges to aimed at advancing students’ understanding of the importance of good health, and the establishment of wellness centers to provide health advice.
Additionally, efforts will be made to promote millet based food in schools and colleges across the district, which has been a key point of focus in Indore in the recent past.
