The new bus stand, Sarwate Bus Station is a massive project and will be something like the stand at Jawahar Marg. The best part about the bus stand is that from here, inter as well as intra city buses will ply. This makes it a one stop station for all your public transport needs. In the city, buses from here will connect the ring pad from Shivaji Vatika Square via Madhumilan Talkies, making commuting matters easy for residents.
As of now, construction of the station has begun and according to officials, buses will -make use of the massive four storied stand in the next 15-months. The project is of a massive scale and we are rather excited to see how it shapes the future of public transport in the city. As per officials, at least 600 buses will ply from the ground floor of this multi storied bus stand, when it finally becomes operational.
