The state board is resuming board examinations for classes 5 and 8 scholars after 4 years in this academic session. Board exams for these classes were stopped in the year 2017. Citing a negative impact on the learning of the students, the state board this year decided to conduct the board exams. Students will be able to focus more on their academics as the risk of infection has subsided and schools have started operating at full capacity.

As per the MPBSE, "Students who do not pass the examination will be given additional tuition by the school and two months after the declaration of the result, the student will be given the opportunity of re-examination." The board exams will begin at 9:30 AM and will end at 11:30 AM on all scheduled days.
