Indore focuses on cleanliness and infrastructure for upcoming leg of G-20 summit

The administration examined various arrangements for the upcoming leg of the G-20 summit, focusing on cleanliness and infrastructure.

Indore is all set to host this leg of the highly anticipated G-20 Summit, where delegates from around the world will gather. They will start arriving from July 18th and will stay in the city until July 21st. Throughout this period, it is crucial to uphold the city's cleanliness, vibrant decorations, and other arrangements. Hence, the administration has advised to present Indore's splendid image to international visitors.

The authorities have also conducted inspections from the airport to the Brilliant Convention Center, where the summit is being held, and reviewing arrangements along other routes. The accommodation facilities at the Marriot Hotel and Sheraton Hotel are being examined. The city administration is leaving no stone unturned to ensure a seamless and memorable G-20 Summit experience.

Municipal Commissioner ensures seamless arrangements

During the inspection, the Municipal Commissioner assessed the arrangements ensuring proper cleanliness measures from the airport to various locations, adequate electricity supply, sufficient lighting on dividers and rotary areas, appropriate branding along the route from the airport to the event venue, and other necessary arrangements.

The officials were also given directives to address any required repairs, footpath maintenance, and other tasks along the designated routes. The city administration is leaving no stone unturned to ensure a seamless and memorable G-20 summit experience. Notably, a dinner for the delegates at 56 shops on July 21st is also being proposed.
