There’s some great news and cause for a lot of excitement for Indoris. After the latest inspection by the MD of Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation on August 18, the date for commencement of Indore Metro seems to be inching ever closer. As per the new update, the trial run for Indore Metro will, in all probability, start by September 15.
Indore Metro Coaches are being built in Vadodara
The remaining work on Indore Metro has reportedly been sped up and the coaches are expected to arrive in the first week of September. It must be noted that the coaches for the Metro in Indore are being built in Vadodara’s Savli village. Also, these coaches will arrive in Indore first, and then a separate set of coaches will be sent to Bhopal.
Furthermore, September 2023 had been set as target for the trial run for Indore Metro. And if the current status of things is anything to go by, the Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (MPMRC) will manage to meet the target and commence the trial run next month.
