Flyover Construction Takes Off in Indore

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently inaugurated the construction of four flyovers in Indore, marking the start of their construction. The Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Limited will undertake these projects to alleviate traffic congestion in the city. The Dewas Naka crossing will cost ₹ 74.49 crore, Satyasai crossing Rs ₹ 62.45 crore, Musakhedi crossing ₹ 67.02 crore, and the 6-lane I.T. Park Square flyover will be built at a cost of ₹ 63.33 crore.

Integrated Traffic Management Launched in Indore

With the aim of enhancing city traffic, the Corporation devised a plan to upgrade the traffic signal system at 50 major crossing in the city as part of the Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS). As part of this initiative, the Integrated Control and Command Center was officially launched for 14 designated major intersections within the city.

City's Smart Meter Initiative Enhances Electricity Services for Citizens

The Madhya Pradesh West Zone Electricity Distribution Company has successfully equipped Indore city and district with smart meters, achieving 100% smart meter coverage. This initiative aims to provide improved electricity services to the residents. Smart meter installations have started in Indore, Ujjain, Ratlam, Dewas, Mhow, and Khargone cities, with these cities now benefiting from smart meter functionality.

PM Unveils 1,024 Residential Units in the City Virtually

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 1,024 residential units in the city through the Light House Project Indore, part of the PM Awas Yojana, with a live telecast at Gulmarg Complex 2 in Village Kanadiya. The Global Housing Technology Challenge-India, aimed at enhancing construction quality and expediting PM Awas Yojana projects, is now in progress, selecting six cities nationwide, including Indore, for the Light House Project implementation.

Two New Solar-Powered EV Charging Stations in the City

On Thursday, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav unveiled two additional public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. These stations, situated in proximity to Gokuldas Hospital and the Snehlata Ganj Bridge, enable the charging of electric two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and electric auto rickshaws.
