Indore limits the number of guests for wedding & other public events to 250

The limit has been set in order to curb the number of Coronavirus cases in the city, amid the fear of a second wave.

The Indore District Administration on Monday, imposed limiting capacities at all public events in the city, including weddings, social/cultural/religious events to a count of 250. This decision has stemmed from the high rise in coronavirus cases in Indore which clocked 586 cases, highest single-day tally on Monday. Besides, introducing the guest limit, the administration has also made it compulsory for the event organisers to inform the nearest police station regarding the gathering, in case of contact tracing.
