In a bid to restore air connectivity between Indore and Jaipur, IndiGo has decided to resume 4 services a week from the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport to Jaipur International Airport from August 28. The proprietor of Vistaar Travel on Friday informed that ATR aircraft will be introduced here to run these services. As per reports, these flights will be commissioned on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Boosting domestic connectivity
The resumption of air services between Indore to Jaipur is soon set to flourish the domestic connectivity post the second wave of coronavirus. Reportedly these operations were suspended with the advent of the high infection spread and the consequent travel restrictions. People were also discouraged to initiate travel in the vulnerable environment of the pandemic.
However, a schedule has been approved to resume air travel between Indore in MP and Jaipur in Rajasthan to patch up the gaps in air travel now. Starting August 28, 4 services will shuttle between the two locations, every week. The timetable charts the departure of flight 6E-7746 Indore-Jaipur will depart from the city at 5 PM, it will reach Jaipur in the next 30 minutes, at around 5:30 PM.
The return flight, 6E-7747 Jaipur-Indore will depart from Jaipur at 6.50 PM on the same day and reach the Indore airport at 8:20 PM. These flights will be the sole air services that will connect Indore to Rajasthan, as presently there are no flights between Indore and any of the cities in the desert state.
