Indore experienced significant rainfall on Sunday, with the meteorological department reporting 65.2mm of rain between 8:30 AM and 11:30 PM. This recent downpour has brought the season’s total rainfall in Indore to 344 mm.
Throughout Sunday, Indore and surrounding areas in the Ujjain division experienced varying intensities of rain. The day began with light showers around 10:30 am, followed by periods of heavier rainfall.
The pleasant weather continued from Saturday, when intermittent rains and cool breezes attracted residents to step out and enjoy the weather. Saturday saw 14.5mm of rain, bringing the season’s total to 265.3mm prior to Sunday’s showers.
Despite the recent rains, the district’s rainfall remains about 50% below the expected amount for this time of year. The meteorological department predicts continued moderate to heavy rains for the region.
