Passengers travelling from Bilaspur and Jabalpur to Indore, can breathe a sigh of relief, as new direct flights will be flagged off between the cities from October 3. These flights will be operated by Alliance Air, a subsidiary of Air India.
The initiative is a part of the union government’s flagship regional connectivity by air scheme, UDAAN. Read on to find out more about the flight schedule and timings.
Connecting Madhya Pradesh regionally by air
In a move to increase regional connectivity in Madhya Pradesh, Alliance Air will start new direct flights from Indore to Bilaspur, Jabalpur and Gwalior. Out of all these cities, a direct flight between Bilaspur and Indore will be the first such flight.
Reportedly, Indore-Jabalpur and Indore-Gwalior direct flights will be operated thrice a week. Meanwhile, Indore to Bilaspur direct flight will be operated four times a week. As per officials, these flights will be further connected to New Delhi.
