Indore to celebrate ISRO's Chandrayaan 3 with a stellar replica statue

The statue for which the planning is underway, will be established in a corner garden near the Rajkumar Mill Railway Overbridge.

After the successful Chandrayaan 3 mission by ISRO, which marked the first lunar south pole landing, Indore is poised to host a replica statue of the space probe.

The Indore authorities intend to honor this remarkable achievement by placing the statue in a corner garden adjacent to the newly constructed railway platform near the Rajkumar Mill Railway Overbridge.

Paperwork and planning for the installation of statue underway

A proposal for the installation of the Chandrayaan-3 space probe replica statue has been drafted by the traffic branch of the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC). This proposal is currently undergoing review and approval in the Mayor-in-Council meeting. It is anticipated to receive in-principle approval, following which a detailed proposal will be formulated.

The replica of Chandrayaan-3, symbolizing a significant triumph in space exploration, garnered global attention and admiration for Indian scientists. The mission's success holds great importance for future lunar and space ventures. Along with this, Indore's initiative to install this statue will not only serve as a tribute to this remarkable achievement but will also inform and inspire the city's residents about this historic mission.
