The Home Again Project in Indore organized a distinctive Rakshabandhan event on August 26. Differently-abled women showcased their creative skills by crafting unique rakhis that symbolised the profound sibling bond. These artisanal rakhis received warm appreciation from esteemed individuals, district officials, and community leaders, displaying their unwavering support.
Ajay Dhawale, the project's director, elaborated Home Again's objective- to provide housing for differently-abled women in the local community.These distinctive rakhis, accompanied by heartfelt letters, will be sent to Prime Minister and Chief Minister.
Dhawale emphasized the struggles faced by women with mental health concerns, even post-recovery, due to potential non-acceptance by their families or communities. He stressed the "Home Again" project's commitment to rehabilitate such women in Indore.
The pioneer project "Home Again" operates across six states nationwide, making a significant impact in Central India.
