T20 World Cup for Blind: Entry FREE for Ind vs Aus at Khalsa Stadium Indore on Dec 10

Teams from England, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, West Indies, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal will fight for the title.

The third edition of the T20 World Cup for the Blind in motion and the next match is scheduled between hosts India, who will be taking on Australia on December 10 at Indore’s Khalsa Stadium, starting at 9 AM. What’s special about this match is that entry for spectators is completely FREE! The tournament, which comprises a total of seven teams, will be played in a round-robin format, where all sides will face each other. 

This competition is not just about playing the sport, but also a platform for visually blind people to engage socially with other blind and vision-impaired people.

Former Indian cricketer, Yuvraj Singh will cheer for players

Former Indian cricketer, Yuvraj Singh is the brand ambassador for the 3rd T20 World Cup for the Blind and will be present in Indore to cheer for Indian players.

A local committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the collector Dr. Ilaiahraja T. to make all the required arrangements for the participants and the audience. Approximately 8,000 to 10,000 people are expected to arrive at Khalsa Stadium to watch this match.

A total of 34 matches will be played in this T20 World Cup, held between December 5 to December 17, in which teams from England, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, West Indies, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal will fight for the title. Matches are scheduled at eight locations in India including Gurugram, Haryana, Delhi, Indore, Mumbai, Odisha, Goa and Bengaluru.
