JLF to begin in Jaipur from March 10; check the line-up for all four days here!

After a gap of two years, Jaipur Literature Festival is all set to make a comeback with its on-ground edition from March 10. Notably, this year the JLF was kickstarted in a hybrid avatar on March 5. Touted to be the 'greatest literary show on Earth', this iconic fest will host renowned names like Remo Fernandes, Dolly Thakore, Rana Safvi, Tripurdaman Singh, Bette Dam, Alka Pande, Anindita Ghose and Shivani Sibal, among others. Day 1

On March 10, historian Rana Safvi will talk about the "Where Stones Speak" trilogy while author Chinmay Tumbe will discuss his book "The Age of Pandemics" with the visitors. Apart from this, Anukrti Upadhyay, diplomat and author Navdeep Suri, prominent theatre thespian Dolly Thakore and co-author of her memoirs, "Regrets, None" - Arghya Lahiri and a pioneer of Indian pop music Remo Fernandes will also grace the event on March 10.

Day 2

On the second day, Balaji Vittal along with actor Manoj Bajpayee will talk about Balaji's book "Pure Evil: The Bad Men of Bollywood". A dedicated session on the iconic movie "Satya", featuring Manoj Bajpayee and film critic Uday Bhatia, the author of "Bullets Over Bombay: Satya and the Hindi Film Gangster" will also be conducted on the second day of JLF.

Noted industrialist and innovator Naushad Forbes will also grace the event on the second day. Apart from this, authors and diplomats Navdeep Suri and Talmiz Ahmad will also hold a session on the Middle East while discussing their forthcoming book "West Asia at War". The book talks about the repression, resistance and the greater power games that are currently going on in this region along with its implications in India.

Another session focusing on India, South Asia and the region's equations with the rest of the world will also be carried out on the second day. Vijay Gokhale author of Tiananmen Square and former Foreign Secretary and Ambassador to China will be a part of this discussion along with TCA Raghavan, a former diplomat and Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan and Singapore and an author.

Day 3

On the third day, the audience will witness award-winning writer and translator Fathima EV discuss translation including her work "Baby Doll". Author of "The Book of Dog, Hemali Sodhi will be in conversation with Arunava Sinha about the four-legged friends. Next up will be an engrossing session by Kala Ramesh, author and journalist Sandeep Unnithan and poet Akhil Katyal's anthology of queer poetry called "The World That Belongs To Us".

Day 4

The fourth and final day will feature award-winning wildlife conservationist Neha Sinha for her book "Wild and Wilful", Alka Pande for her new book "Pha(bu)llus: A Cultural History" and Vinod Kapri for his gutwrenching book about seven migrants having to walk thousands of kilometres back home on foot after the nationwide lockdown of 2020.

Apart from this, writer Tripurdaman Singh will also hold a discussion about his new book, "Nehru: The Debates that Defined India". Journalist Anindita Ghose will also grace the stage and talk about her debut novel, "The Illuminated". Poet and scholar Yatindra Mishra will also be a part of this literary festival on the fourth day.

The audience will also be able to hear Investigative journalist Bette Dam talk about her path-breaking new book "Looking for the Enemy: Mullah Omar and the Unknown Taliban" on the final day of the festival. Senior journalist Jaideep Hardikar will also talk to the people about his book "Ramrao: The Story of India's Farm Crisis". Namita Gokhale, a reputed author and Sahitya Akademi award winner will also be a part of the discussions on March 14.
