In light of this, Jaipur Metro has decided to play it’s part in making travel for these late night shoppers easier and here’s how!

Extra services from October 1 - 31

In view of upcoming festivities, Jaipur metro plans to extend its train hours from October 1 till October 31. The metro is currently running on a 9.7 kilometer long route in Jaipur, covering eleven station from Mansarovar to Badi Chaupar. The first train will depart from Mansarovar and Badi Chaupar at it’s regular time 6:20 AM. However, the last train will depart from the two corners of jaipur Metro at 10:00 PM, instead of 9:20 PM. Consequently, metro authorities plans to run 4 extra train rounds with 182 daily trains in place of usual 178.

A Relief for late night shoppers

A number of local markets like Johari Bazar Tibbati Market, Aravali Bazar and Chandpole Bazar of jaipur, fall within a 5 kilometer radius to the nearest metro station. The well thought initiative will help people shop till their hearts content and travel home safely due to extended four train rounds.

Notably, the fare of travel might also increase according to sources. However, the increase in price still remains undisclosed.
