Check out fresh COVID-19 guidelines effective across Rajasthan at present

While a 6-hour night curfew is still effective across the state, the Sunday curfew has now been discontinued in Rajasthan
In view of the declining coronavirus cases across the state, the government of Rajasthan has issued fresh COVID guidelines. As per the latest order released on Friday, the administration has offered other relaxations in the pandemic protocols and restrictions applicable in Jaipur and other districts. Schools reopen for Classes 10 & 12

As per the order released on Friday, all schools for classes 10 to 12 in Jaipur and urban areas of the state have resumed offline classes from today, February 1. Schools for classes 6 to 9 are set to begin physical classes from February 10.

Even with the reopening of schools, no compulsion can be made on students to attend offline sessions. Parents consent is mandatory for attendance, read the order. Students, whose parents are still hesitant to send their wards to schools, have the option to continue online classes.

While the daily night curfew from 11 PM to 5 AM will continue as is, the public discipline curfew on Sunday has now ended in the state. All the shopping malls, commercial outlets can now remain open till 10 PM in Rajasthan.

Notably, in a bid to boost tourism in the state, multiple events and cultural programs will be organised in February. In view of such events, the administration has now increased the cap on attendees as well. From now onwards, 100 people can gather in any socio-cultural, sports or political gathering in Rajasthan. However, strict adherence to all the COVID protocols is mandatory in the state. Violators of the rules will be penalised.

In an attempt to increase the vaccination coverage, the state government will now take strict action against those who continue to go to work without getting the COVID jab. As per the order, all institutions in the states will have to inform the administration about the vaccination status of their staff. All those who haven't taken both doses of vaccine against coronavirus will face action.

A total of 9,34,08,235 doses have been administered to beneficiaries in Rajasthan, as of Tuesday morning. So far, 3,99,59,532 eligible adults in the state have been fully inoculated against this deadly virus, whereas 8,89,804 people have taken the third, precaution dose as well.
