Jaipur's Sanskrit University takes a smart turn with proposed digital revamps!

As a part of multiple initiatives, students will now be able to get online certificates in a hassle-free manner.

In view of the troubles being faced by the students, officials at Jaipur Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University have decided to take the virtual route for various processes at the institute. As a part of this, the authorities are working on a virtual program for the provisioning of certificates to the students, reportedly. Additionally, the varsity administration is also working on the proposed digitisation of processes for transforming the institute into a smart varsity.

Pupils to get digital certificates in a hassle-free manner


Once the current plans are materialised, students will be able to get their online certificates in a hassle-free manner, from any city in Rajasthan. Given the current process, students have to take a longer route, as they navigate their way to the actual campus in order to procure the certificates. Additionally, the Vice-Chancellor of the university has also participated in deliberations with the authorities from Delhi Technological University in a bid to prepare a comprehensive action plan for the smart university.

Wi-Fi enabled varsity with smart classrooms to have a digitised library


Reportedly, the implementation work for the proposed additions has been initiated at the institute already and the officials have been instructed with regards to this. As per reports, the VC informed that a plan has been chalked out for the next six months and the objective of the first phase is to revamp the campus into an advanced facility. Reportedly, the university will become a Wi-Fi enabled centre with smart classrooms. In addition to this, the library will be digitised too and virtual archives shall be added.

Further, the research papers written at the university will soon be available for online scholars and virtual courses shall also be initiated. Reportedly, the university management is also working on a virtual fee collection system where course and hostel fees can be submitted online. It is expected that a large count of students will be benefitted from these initiatives.

In a bid to ease the process for the state residents, Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited has tweaked the services of the 'Jhatpat Connection' portal to make it consumer-friendly. In case errors or discrepancies are noticed in the application form, the concerned officials will not be allowed to cancel the registration. Instead, they will notify on the portal itself and the applicant will make the corrections and alterations so that the process moves further.

Discom grants ₹2.50 crore power bill rebate in Indore

Discom has slashed an amount off around 1.25 lakh electricity bills generated by smart meters.

Ushering an economic respite for non-domestic consumers in Indore and nearby regions, the Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Compay Ltd has initiated ₹2.50 crore power factor incentives. According to Discom officials, rebates have been granted to around 1.25 lakh power bills, that were equipped with smart meters. These electricity connections are mostly used by commercial establishments and industries.
