After days of hot and humid weather, a heavy downpour was observed in Jaipur on Monday evening. Due to the short spell of the rains, the humidity levels have sparked up yet again, creating problems for the city folks. While reports indicate a possibility of rains with cloudy skies, it is expected that warm weather conditions shall continue in the days to come. As per reports, the mercury levels would fluctuate between 25° celsius and 28° celsius today.
Temperatures slope downwards through the month of July in Jaipur
Starting with a range that hovered around 40° celsius at the beginning of July, the temperatures have taken a downward trajectory ushering some respite for the residents. Further, the prediction of rains in the upcoming days hints at improved weather indices. As per the forecasts, thunderstorms may be witnessed tonight and they are also expected to recur on Friday.
Despite the presence of humidity, the lowered temperatures are definitely a sign of relief. If repetitive rains are witnessed this week, the parameters would further enhance and the city would trail through a soothing weather.
Massive traffic jams witnessed on Monday evening
Following the rains last evening, traffic jams were observed on the Sikar Road between Harmada and Chomu Puliya. Given that the jam stretched for a few kilometers, it took a lot of time for the traffic police officials to diffuse the situation. As per reports, some cars had to bear the brunt of heavy waterlogging and the officials deployed quick measures to resolve the issues.
