Jaipur witnessed the restart of the much-loved light and sound show at Amer Fort on Tuesday after the long halt caused by the COVID pandemic. The captivating show was temporarily stopped on March 18 and has resumed after 10 months. Tourists had long been waiting for the restart, which has finally happened now, after the arrival of the COVID vaccine in Rajasthan and other parts of the country.

On the occasion of Republic Day, the fort lit up in the brightest colours and one of the major attractions from the light and sound show was the voice of superstar Amitabh Bachchan echoing through its chambers. The show is based on stories from the past that have been voiced over by Amitabh Bachchan. After ensuring complete adherence to the COVID guidelines, the unique presentation has been revived by the fort administration.
As per reports, the superintendent of the Amer fort asserted that the mesmerizing light and sound show hosted in the palace is highly loved and appreciated amongst the tourists. What holds the viewers’ attention is the finesse with which incidents from Amer’s history are presented in the evening show. Given that tourists enthusiastically wait for attending the light and sound event, it had a joyous re-start early this week.
