Rajasthan government's mega investment summit 'Invest Rajasthan 2022' to get an international launch today

The desert state is all set to showcase itself to the world at the mega-investment summit 'Invest Rajasthan 2022' happening at Dubai Expo 2020, during the ongoing Rajasthan Week. The official inauguration of the Rajasthan Pavilion inside the Indian Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020 will take place today. In a bid to attract investment for the state, a delegation of the Rajasthan Government will take part in the ongoing exhibition in the United Arab Emirates.


Roadshow to be organised in Dubai on November 15!

Reportedly, senior officials of various divisions including the Industries and Commerce Department will also partake in the programme which will take place till November 18. With Rajasthan emerging as a 'better investment destination', this display at the Dubai Expo will make investors aware of various investment possibilities in the state.

Moreover, special invites will also be handed out for the 'Invest Rajasthan' project which is scheduled to take place on January 24 and 25, next year. Additionally, a roadshow will also be organised in Dubai on November 15. According to the Industries and Commerce Commissioner of the state, special focus is being given to Agro & Agro Processing, EV, Chemicals & Petrochemicals, ESDM, Tourism, Medical & Health, Mines, Minerals & Ceramics, Renewable Energy, Textiles sectors in Rajasthan.

Upcoming cloverleaf road to ease traffic woes in Lucknow's Rajajipuram area

The road will be completed by March 2022 and will be made at a cost of ₹16 crores

In a bid to streamline intense traffic locks at the Alambagh-Chowk railway overbridge (ROB), the Setu Corporation has started the construction of a one-way road in Rajajipuram in Lucknow. This construction of this cloverleaf road is expected to complete by March 22, enhancing mobility for over 3 lakh vehicles that frequent the area. As per reports, the ₹16 crore project was approved and sanctioned in March 2021 only, however, could not proceed due to the second wave of coronavirus.

Omicron enters Maharashtra as Dombivli resident tests positive

This is the fourth confirmed case of Omicron in India

On Saturday, a 33- year old resident of Kalyan-Dombivli tested positive for the Omicron variant of Covid-19. The man had travelled in from South Africa via Delhi. He is currently kept under isolation at a Covid Centre in Kalyan-Dombivli. He had earlier complained of mild fever but is now asymptomatic. This makes Maharashtra the third state in the country, after Karnataka and Gujarat, to have reported a case of the new variant of concern.

Jaipur Municipal Corporation has taken up the repair and beautification work of more than 120 dirty lanes of the Heritage Walkway

In an attempt to improve the appearance of the Walled City, Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) has decided to undertake a beautification project of a selected number of lanes in the area. As per the reports, the civic body is working to repair and beautify more than 120 lanes of the famous Heritage Walkway. While the repair work was already set in motion earlier, the outbreak of COVID had put a barrier in its progress. With the work being resumed by the JMC now, this project is likely to conclude by February 2022.
