After the successful inauguration of Vande Bharat Express in various parts of the country, the Indian Railway Ministry is launching another semi-high-speed train! This will be the state’s 1st Vande Bharat Express, and the locals are ready for it. The Prime Minister of India inaugurated the Ajmer-Delhi Cantt. Vande Bharat Express on high-rise overhead electric (OHE) land on 12th April 2023.

Ajmer-Delhi Cantt. Vande Bharat Express will also be the first semi-high-speed passenger train to ever operate on overhead electric (OHE) lines.
Following its launch, from 13 April 2023, the maiden express will operate regularly between Ajmer and Delhi Cantt., with stops at Jaipur, Alwar, and Gurgaon. The train will cover the Ajmer-Delhi Cantt. route in just 5 hours and 15 minutes, which is 60 minutes less than the current quickest train on the route, the Shatabdi Express (6 hrs and 15 mins).
